Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator
Meaningful resolutions begin with meaningful conversations.
Sarah Allen believes the most successful mediations are about more than reaching an agreement—they’re about creating an environment where people feel heard, attorneys feel supported, and every participant has the opportunity to make informed decisions with confidence.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, Sarah mediates a broad range of disputes, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, commercial litigation and other complex civil matters. She brings the perspective of an experienced litigator together with the neutrality, preparation, and emotional intelligence that effective mediation requires.
Sarah approaches every mediation as an active participant in the process—not a passive facilitator. She invests time in understanding the issues, the personalities involved, and the interests driving each side’s position long before anyone walks into the conference room. During mediation, she remains engaged with attorneys and clients alike, asking thoughtful questions, testing assumptions, exploring creative solutions, and helping parties move beyond impasse toward meaningful resolution.
Attorneys appreciate Sarah’s ability to promote professionalism, build perspective, and proceed with patience. She understands that every case is different, and every client processes conflict differently. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, she adapts her style to meet the needs of the people in the room, creating a process that is both efficient and respectful. Whether the dispute resolves after a full day of negotiation or requires continued dialogue after the session concludes, Sarah is committed to helping the parties find a path forward.
Her goal is not simply to settle cases—it is to help attorneys and clients leave mediation believing they were heard, respected, and well served.
In addition to her mediation practice, Sarah is actively involved in the legal community through outreach focused on improving the mediation process and strengthening relationships within Florida’s legal profession. She is passionate about making mediation more approachable, more effective, and more valuable for everyone involved. She also serves philanthropically through The Women’s Board and American Cancer Society.
Sarah offers both virtual and in-person mediations, including mediations hosted at The Liles Firm in downtown Jacksonville for attorneys and clients who prefer the benefits of a face-to-face conversation.
